Curiosity! A Doorway to Wonder
Curiosity! You already know that it's an essential part of being a strong learner. The deepest, steadiest learners often have the deepest curiosity about things. But did you know it's also an important component of opening to the experience of wonder*? Of course it is!
In this day and age of screen media and internet — when everything is fed to us and we're encouraged at every turn to think in prescribed ways — I believe curiosity is an essential quality to cultivate.
So in this exploration of wonder, let's dive into stories of curious characters who take their own adventures and make their own discoveries. Let these stories be models for your own home-grown explorations.
Enjoy!

- p.s. To inspire my thinking about wonder this month, I picked up a book by Monica C. Parker called The Power of Wonder. I recommend it!
