Hometown: Austin, Texas
Loves: Sitting idly on public benches, gnocci, soccer in the rain.
Family: two boys and three dogs. And Lisabeth (see below).
Superpower: Spell-Casting and Precision-Listening.
Favorite thing to do with a free afternoon? A walk downtown or in the woods.
Where you’ll find him at 10 a.m. on a Monday? Walking from the office to a favorite coffee shop with a big smile on his face.
Dream vacation spot? An apartment in Rome with a balcony overlooking a wide cobblestone piazza.

At Sparkle: Doer-of-Many-Odd-and-Wonderful-Things (including CEO)
Hometown: Austin, Texas
Loves: breakfast tacos, bright morning light, and time to do whatever she’s inspired to do, be that reorganizing the entire garage or sitting in the sun with a magazine.

Hometown: Austin, Texas
Loves: knitting, dark chocolate, baby animals.
Family: Beaty, Fletcher (8), and Asa (6). And the cats Puppy and Thurston; and the dog, Leroy.
Superpower: Impervious Optimism.
Favorite thing to do with a free afternoon? sneak away to a movie.

At Sparkle: Literary Editor and Continuity Director
Hometown: Chicago, Illinois
Loves: Roald Dahl stories (especially read aloud), homemade salty caramel ice cream, Woody Allen films.
Family: Jon, Lucy (11), and Rosie (9). Plus two cats: Franny and Pepper.
Superpower: Knitting Without Looking and Insuppressible Cookie-Baking.
Favorite thing to do with a free afternoon? Snuggling up with a cat and a good book.
Where you’ll find her at 10 a.m. on a Monday? Sitting next to one of my daughters as they practice piano.

Loves: Growing food, hiking in fairy forests, secretly eating chocolate in the pantry, speaking Italian and creating art.

Superpower: Seeing the Glass as Half-Full and Laughing at Bad Jokes.

Loves: Being outside, hanging out with my dog, and blacksmithing.
